Because I started on analog film and for some years I have returned to it, I will describe more about the different experience on analog, about the living spirit of the chemical process that forms the image on the plastic support.
It’s a different process that many approach as fashionable. Honestly, I who worked in this way breathed a sigh of relief when digital appeared. However, I was left with the idea that black and white is for film but also impressed by the medium and large format compared to the usual 35mm format. The colors of the film are defined in a certain way and depend on the type of negative C41-ECN or E6 slide, but especially on the character of each film due to the emulsion.
I will try to describe in more detail all these experiences.
